Cedar Vale residents enjoy a mayor/council form of government. By Kansas statute, Cedar Vale is classified as a city of the third class. Town council meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 6 o'clock PM. They are open to the public.

Activating your water and sewer
services is easy. Drop by City Hall
between the hours of 8:00 am and
4:30 pm, and fill out the necessary
paperwork. If you are aware of a previous problem with one of your prior bills, such as an outstanding balance, please be prepared to bring your previous account current before new services can be established.
The City sends out several hundred bills each month, so if you have questions feel free to give us a call. Your residential bill will include water and sewer charges, based upon usage.
